One of our recent Sunday services was dedicated to the celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We all sang Christmas carols and was then blessed with a glorious musical ministration by the anointed Guitarist, Brother Enos Fabre.

Our pastor followed with a sermon entitled "An encounter with Jesus." The message, drawing from John 1:35-44, highlighted some of the results of having an encounter with Jesus: the ordinary becomes extraordinary, timidity gives way to boldness (Acts 4:13); lack turns to abundance (John 6:4-13); the impossible becomes possible (Mark 5:25-34); destiny is defined or restored (Luke 22:31-32). It was concluded with the admonition that to have an encounter, one must find Jesus (John 1:41,45). To find Jesus, we must seek Him earnestly (Jer 29:13, Mat 7:7).
